We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Senior Cloud Architect to join the IT team at our headquarters in Kilchberg.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and SAP. This role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stay abreast of emerging technologies.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and SAP. This role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Cloud Solution Design:
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions, emphasizing Microsoft Azure as the primary hyperscaler and SAP as the main enterprise application/workload
- Design and implement seamless integration between on-premises data center resources and the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
- Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with in- and external development and operations teams to optimize performance and maintain system integrity
- Work closely with SAP experts to integrate SAP applications seamlessly into the Azure cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability
- Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for both on-premises and cloud environments
- Test and validate the effectiveness of the plans to ensure minimal downtime in the event of a disruption
- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate risks
- Develop cost-effective cloud architectures, monitor resource utilization, and provide recommendations for optimizing cloud expenses
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to (junior) members of the infrastructure team. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with SAP teams and other departments
- Coordination of suppliers and partners in the event of incidents, problem solutions and projects
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for integrated cloud solutions
YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree in (business) informatics or similar
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and SAP Certified Technology Associate are a plus
- Additional certifications related to security (e.g., CISSP, CCSP or CISM) or project management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable
- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and integration with cloud environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong understanding of networking, identity management, and data management in the cloud
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Security-focused mindset with expertise in implementing security best practices
- Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Languages: English required, German a big plus, French / Italian / Spanish a plus
- Occasional travel to the locations owned by Lindt is desired
